Two extra days of Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks

Discovery Place Science

CHARLOTTE – Back by popular demand, the Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks exhibition at Discovery Place Science will reopen this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7-8, for one last building opportunity. The exhibition was scheduled to end its Charlotte run on Sept. 2, but now will be open to Museum guests for an extra weekend.

“The exhibition has been hugely popular with guests and, working with our partners in Australia, we were able to extend the exhibition to make this amazing experience available to the Charlotte community for an extra couple of days,” said Sarah Macey, associate vice president of Exhibits & Design at Discovery Place.

The exhibition features 20 of the world’s most astonishing skyscrapers built to scale out of LEGO bricks. Towers of Tomorrow also boasts more than 200,000 loose LEGO pieces for guest to create their own towers of tomorrow.
