CHARLOTTE – This winter break, escape the elements, and learn about the elements, at Discovery Place Science as the Museum presents Cool Chemistry, a special slate of programs highlighting reactions, reagents and other rules of chemistry. Students of all ages can form bonds with new concepts as well as ideas that have withstood the ages. But don’t worry, these lessons don’t come with a final exam!

This special Winter Break programming runs Dec. 23 through Jan. 5, 2020.

Celebrate the holidays with everything from singing Chemistry Carols with our staff to making Chromatography Ornaments to bring home. Plus, discover the chilling facts about liquid nitrogen, and taste some of its yummy creations. Museum admission is $19 for adults; $15 for children and $17 for seniors. Members receive free admission to the Museum all year round.
