CHARLOTTE – There’s barely been a winter so far this year in Charlotte, but is one still on the way? Like so many events and activities over the past 11 months, this year’s weather prediction by Discovery Place Nature’s resident groundhog went virtual.

In footage released by the Museum on Groundhog Day, Queen Charlotte can be seen making it known that she suspects winter is still coming for another six weeks.

To make her prediction, Her Royal Highness selected from two different bowls of treats, each representing a different weather fate. In the video, Queen Charlotte makes a beeline to her chosen bowl, leaving no question of whether she is confident in her prediction.
