Discovery Place is transforming the way science, technology and nature are explored to inspire invention, raise aspirations and seed a lifelong love of learning.

Through Discovery Place Science in uptown Charlotte, Discovery Place Nature near Freedom Park and Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville and Rockingham, as well as delivery of education and outreach programs and hands-on professional development training for K-12 teachers throughout the region, Discovery Place serves over 730,000 residents and visitors annually and changes lives forever.

Now in its fourth year, #GivingTuesdayCLT is a day for our community to come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to GIVE.

Giving Tuesday, globally known as the first day of the “giving season,” is a two-week campaign (November 14 - 28) that encourages people to give back after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Made local by SHARE Charlotte, #GivingTuesdayCLT engages the Charlotte community to support more than 230 local nonprofits and raise $10 million.
