Discovery Place ranked as top museum and attraction in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE – This week, Discovery Place was named Charlotte’s top museum and attraction for 2018 in the annual North Carolina Museums and Historic Attractions Survey.

With more than 745,600 visitors last year, Discovery Place ranked as the No. 1 Museum and Attraction for Charlotte and the fourth most visited across the state. Discovery Place is the only Charlotte institution to be listed among the top 25 most visited museums and attractions in North Carolina.

It marks the 15th time in as many years that Discovery Place has been among the top 5 most visited museums and attractions in the state.

The North Carolina Museums and Historic Attractions Survey is conducted annually by Carolina Publishing and Associates.
